Everyone grills, but these tips will make you a grilling pro.

April 24, 2024

Barbecues and camping trips bring together many lovers, not only for the delicious taste of grilled meat, but also for the unforgettable moments that the barbecue process entails between family and friends . To complete the fun and happiness of barbecue parties, a professional griller is essential who can prepare the food in the fastest and best way.

You can become the grilling pro that ensures everyone has a happy barbecue by following these tips from Meat & More's Consumer Awareness Department:

1. Avoid burning wooden sticks.

Using wooden skewers instead of iron skewers for grilling is easier, faster, and reduces cleanup effort. However, we are often surprised when the wooden skewers burn due to the fire, ruining the taste and aroma of the meat. To avoid this problem, leave the wooden skewers in a bowl filled with water for 20 minutes before grilling.

2. Make sure the meat is fully cooked.

To avoid overcooking the meat, make sure the meat slices are at least 7 cm above the coals during grilling.

3. Add a few of these ingredients for an irresistible taste.

Adding small amounts of basil, thyme, or mint to the meat while grilling will give it an irresistible taste and an unparalleled aroma.

4. Avoid burning the meat.

When the charcoal is burning strongly or the flame is high, remove the meat immediately to prevent it from burning and spoiling , and return it again after the flame has calmed down and stabilized.

5. Unexpected benefits of onions

Onions are not only useful for seasoning meat, but they will also help you greatly in removing small residue from the grill that can be difficult for a cleaning brush.

6. Salt before and after grilling.

Adding too much salt just before or during grilling will end up on the charcoal, so it's best to add salt before grilling (in the marinade) or after you're done grilling.

After following the above tips, all that remains is to enjoy the delicious taste of meat and spend a happy time with family and friends .
