- 1 grated onion
- A pinch of cinnamon + black pepper + salt
- A spoon of breadcrumbs (optional for consistency)
🥣 For the sauce:

- Juice of 1 lemon

- A pinch of salt + a pinch of cumin
👨🍳 Preparation method:
1. Mix the meat with the onions, spices and breadcrumbs, then form it into small balls.
2. Brown the meatballs in a pan until browned on the sides only (do not cook completely).
3. In a bowl, mix the tahini with lemon juice, garlic, and salt, and gradually add water until you get a smooth consistency.
4. In a casserole or ovenproof dish, arrange the meatballs and pour the tahini sauce over them.
5. Place the casserole in a preheated oven at 180° for 25–30 minutes until the sauce is firm and the edges are browned.
🍽️ Serving suggestions:
Serve the casserole with white vermicelli rice or hot Arabic bread.
Garnish with chopped parsley and lemon slices.
💡 Chef's Tip:
Add a sprinkle of sumac or pomegranate molasses over the tahini before serving… it gives you an irresistible flavor!
