Beef is a beloved ingredient that always whets the appetite, and one of the most delicious ways to prepare it is by making a burger that's flavorful, well-seasoned, and nestled in melted cheese to enrich every bite with irresistible pleasure.

Making homemade burgers is easy and guarantees a taste that rivals, if not surpasses, restaurant-quality burgers, especially when served with creamy barbecue sauce and layers of lettuce and tomatoes, all between toasted brioche buns.

Preparation Time: 40 minutes                      Serves: 4 people

Ingredients:

8 slices of melt-able cheese

4 brioche buns, split and toasted

4 tomato slices

4 large lettuce leaves

For Caramelized Onions:

1 large onion, thinly sliced

1 tablespoon of butter

For Burger:

500 grams of ground beef (20% fat)

1 egg yolk

1/4 cup of breadcrumbs

1 teaspoon of your favorite sauce (e.g., Worcestershire sauce)

1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

For Creamy BBQ Sauce:

1/3 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon barbecue sauce

1/2 teaspoon mustard

Instructions:

To prepare Caramelized Onions:

In a pan over medium heat, sauté the onions in butter until caramelized, about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper.

For the Burger:

In a large bowl, mix the burger ingredients by hand. Divide the mixture into 4 portions and shape them into patties slightly larger than the buns. Use the back of a spoon to press down on each patty in the middle to make sure it cooks evenly.

Heat a pan over high heat, then cook the burgers for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

Add slices of cheese to the burgers and cover the pan for about two minutes, or until the cheese melts.

To prepare Creamy BBQ Sauce:

In a small bowl, mix all the sauce ingredients until well combined, then set it aside.

Assembling the Sandwiches:

Spread the sauce on the buns, then add lettuce, tomato, the cheese-covered burger, and top it with caramelized onions. Finish with the top bun.

Serve it and enjoy the delicious taste!
