Maqlul with minced Naeemi meat
Serves: 4 people
Ingredients
• Minced Naeemi lamb : 600–700 g
• Onion: 1 large, chopped
• Garlic: 3 cloves
• Tomatoes: 2 cubes + Tomato paste: 1 tbsp
• Green peppers: 1–2 (as desired)
• Spices: Cumin, coriander, black pepper, mixed spices, salt
• Oil/Ghee: 3 tablespoons
Preparation method
(1) Sauté the onions in ghee until they soften, then add the garlic.
(2) Add the minced meat and break it up until it browns.
(3) Add the tomatoes, paste, spices, and green pepper.
(4) Let it simmer for 10–15 minutes over low heat.

• It goes well with white rice or tamees bread.
• You can add hot peppers if you like it spicy.
